Under the guidance of MD Simon Crawford Collins, the company works with some of the most exciting writers in the UK and beyond, to produce hugely entertaining, adventurous and emotional dramas that have simply great characters at their core.

Simon was previously joint Managing Director at Kudos where he produced era-defining dramas including Spooks, Hustle and Ashes to Ashes. Slim aims to continue the tradition of making platform-defining television that lives long in the audience’s memory.

Slim’s multi award-winning and critically acclaimed returning series Mystic, for CBBC and TVNZ, is currently in production on its third series.  Slim recently completed filming its epic eight-part adaptation of Jules Verne’s Around the World in 80 Days, starring David Tennant in the iconic role of Phileas Fogg and which was broadcast as a major global event around Christmas 2021 on the BBC, France TV, PBS Masterpiece and ZDF amongst many others.

Slim has an extensive development slate of further high-end television dramas for both the UK market and for Slim’s many international broadcaster connections. In addition, Slim is continuing its successful collaboration with Federation Entertainment and writer Ashley Pharoah to develop more adaptations from the extraordinary novels of Jules Verne.

In 2020, Slim announced the management buyback of all its shares and is now a completely independent company.
